Description: This short film was shot by me on two camera's in Cambodia. I was walking around Cambodia on a tour of architecture in the capital city and asked the tour guide what all the little houses were in front of every big house and stores. He tells me they are the spirit houses. In olden times there were lots of spirits everywhere doing good and bad. So you would build a little house for the good ones, and the bad ones I guess, and give them little offerings.In return they would be cool with you. I had the guide reach out to a store owner who sold these little houses and what follows is that story. In the best light it will make you think of your life and bring you happiness. In the worst light, it was my first amateurish attempt at a documentary film. I learned a lot about footage, capturing, and story telling in general though making this little film. I am happy to share it with you, and hope that it made you smile and think a little. Obviously the next one will be better.
